Here & There Travel has been a member of the Better Business Bureau and the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce.Miriam Blau served as a member of the Board of Directors on the Chamber of Commerce.
Miriam Blau has served on the Board of Directors of ASTA, the American Society of Travel Agents, Travel Agents of Suffolk County, and the Long Island Travel Agents Association. Miriam served as Chairperson for the LITAA Trade Show for several years.This is Long Island’s largest trade show.Miriam also served as a member of the advisory boards of Carnival Airlines, Florida Tourism, SUNY Farmingdale Small Business Advisory Board, and the BOCES Travel & Tourism Advisory Board.
Kenneth Blau served as President of the Long Island Travel Association and is currently Chairperson of Industry Affairs for LITAA as well as TASC, Travel Agents of Suffolk County.He has served as a member of the Walt Disney Travel Advisory Council (one of twenty travel agents in the U.S.) for three years.For several years he served a member of SPACE & Leisure travel Consortium Board and the Value Rent-A-Car Advisory Board.
